A ski-in, ski-out Apartment in the Arcs1950, one of the highest and newest resorts in the Alps. Our apartment, on the ground floor, allows you to literally leave your skis at the back door and be on the slopes in 30 seconds. And ski right up to the back door at the end of the day. In summer, the outside is a patio with trees around overlooking the pool and slopes below.
The Apartment is a spacious fully furnished two bedroom, two bath, in perfect working condition, with a large living room that can be converted into a third bedroom. There is a dining area that seats six comfortably and a kitchen with all the modcons.
The Apartment is in Auberge Jerome, the first building built in Arcs1950, closest to the slopes and ski-lifts, and faces the down-slope. The Building operates as a "four star tourist residence" has a warm swimming pool, hot tub and cardio gym, laundry etc. It is in the center of the village.
The village has fast become one of the attractions in the region, particularly for family holidays. Its upscale and has half a dozen good restaurants, some nice bars for vin Chaud or Guinness.
The Apartment has an "Open 2" lease, that ends in April 30 2017. Which means until then, we have the right (and obligation to pay for) the apartment for one week in the ski season and one week in the summer. We have the option to increase that to 7 weeks a season if we notify them before December of any year. We receive revenues from this lease of Euro 7000 p/a, less expenses. This used to make good economic sense to us, until we moved to the United States where we now live.
